Eighth grade students from Saint Anne Catholic School prepared Thanksgiving food boxes as part of the Arizona Charlie’s Feed a Family program. The boxes were distributed to clients of the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority.
Each food box contained everything to prepare an entire Thanksgiving meal for four people including a 10-pound turkey, stuffing, gravy, mixed vegetables, potatoes, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and whipped cream.
The food boxes are a gift from Arizona Charlie’s players who had the ability to contribute their ace | PLAY points to buy a food box. In addition, Arizona Charlie’s Casinos, Boulder and Decatur, donated additional food boxes.
